A school district in Fountain, CO is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support the academic and emotional development of students. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students - Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) - Provide counseling and intervention services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges - Interpret assessment data and communicate findings to parents and school personnel - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide behavioral programs - Stay current with best practices, educational laws, and psychological assessment techniques Desired Qualifications: - Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure as required by the state of Colorado - Experience conducting psychological assessments within a school setting - Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations (IDEA, Section 504) - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff - Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain detailed records - Commitment to student advocacy and promoting inclusive educational environments Location:Fountain, Colorado this position works within a local school district serving diverse student populations.
