Job Description:
SAS Retail Services is looking for a dynamic and skilled Retail
Merchandiser Peer Trainer to deliver training and development to
our merchandising teams across various locations in the United
States. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing the
skills necessary for our team members to excel in reset execution,
fixture installations, and product demonstrations. You will ensure
that all team members understand and are able to effectively apply
our operational standards to enhance retail environments, keeping
in line with the SAS objective of elevating shopping experiences
through exceptional retail support. Design, develop, and deliver
training programs tailored to merchandisers within retail settings
Conduct on-site training sessions and oversee the onboarding
process for new hires Monitor and report on the effectiveness of
training activities and make adjustments as needed Collaborate with
operations managers to identify training needs and schedule
training sessions accordingly Prepare educational material such as
module summaries, videos, and presentations Stay up-to-date with
the latest in merchandise strategy and share insights with peers
and management Provide constructive feedback to team members and
encouragement to adopt best practices Travel extensively across
retail locations to ensure consistent training delivery and
merchandising standards Strong ability to teach and mentor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create
and deliver engaging presentations Proven understanding of retail
operations and merchandising techniques Adept at handling multiple
assignments simultaneously Proficiency with MS Office and other
training software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Certification from the Retail Management
Institute or similar is a plus Certified Professional in Learning
and Performance (CPLP) beneficial
