Summary:
Provides emergent/urgent patient care under the direction of a
physician, physician's assistant, and/or registered nurse.
Work Schedule: Full Time Flex
Responsibilities:
Performs technical procedures as delegated, including establishing
IV access, collecting specimens, providing wound care, and
transporting patients. May perform ECGs and vital
statistics/telemetry monitoring.
Assists physicians and nurses with performing medical procedures,
including examinations, minor surgical interventions, orthopedic
treatment, and resuscitation.
Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental
and emotional conditions to medical/nursing staff.
Assists with patient flow and keeping patient rooms clean, stocked,
and orderly.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive
judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate
action.
Requirements:
* EMT-Paramedic
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support
* PALS Certification
* Pediatric Educ for Prehospital Professionals
Minimum Required Education: HS Diploma or GED.
Required Licensure/Certification: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Current
State Licensure as an EMT-P. Additional certifications and National
Certification as defined by position level requirements.
Minimum Experience: None Required.
ADDITIONAL POSITION LEVEL CREDENTIAL INFORMATION: PALS or PEPP,
National cert not required

The pay range for this position is: $24.11 - $36.17/ hour. Pay is
dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon
organizational and individual performance.
