Job Description:

The Fox Hill Club is seeking a highly motivated individual to manage our turf care equipment. -Fox Hill is located in Longmont, roughly 30 miles north of Denver along the Colorado Front Range. - -We are looking for an individual that is willing to take a hands-on approach when it comes to equipment maintenance. The equipment manager reports to the Golf Course Superintendent and/or Assistant Golf Course Superintendent and oversees a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for the golf course assets. This program includes the diagnostics and repair of all turf equipment, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment, and placing orders for parts and supplies needed for equipment or service. The equipment manager properly communicates any needs or problems relating to the maintenance or repair of equipment to the Superintendent and/or the Assistant Superintendent. The equipment manager places safety as a top priority and is responsible for maintaining a clean service area and maintenance building.Functions:

Inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects/failures in various golf course maintenance equipment including diesel, and gasoline powered engines, mowers, and other mechanical equipment used in golf course work.Oversees the shop area maintenance.Instructs and/or trains golf course maintenance workers regarding safe operation and proper cleaning of equipment.Maintain mowing units to a high quality of cut.Ensures daily set-up of all turf equipment.Maintains a preventive maintenance program within budget on all equipment, and purchases repair parts and replacement supplies.Maintains a complete set of records for equipment and parts inventory purchases, equipment conditions, costs of repairs and preventive maintenance for all equipment.Spot checks equipment for performance and performs emergency repairs to equipment on the course.Possesses a working knowledge of the theory and care of reel and bed knife grinding -Performs other duties as directed by the Superintendent.Experience Requirements2+ years of experience as equipment manager at a golf courseJob BenefitsFull-time position with competitive salary based on -experience -Company paid -Medical, optional Dental, Vision, and other -Vacation, PTO, and Sick TimeMeals, Golfing -Privileges, and Golf Shop discountsUniformsDate Job is AvailableASAPSalary$60,000 to $65,000 per yearJob Application InstructionsPlease email inquiries to Rich Parker at rparker@thefoxhillclub.com - -We comply with the HFWA Sick Pay Requirements for all employees.Full Benefits package for all full-time employees to include Medical, Dental, Vision and other voluntarysupplemental benefits, paid days off.Powered by JazzHR
