today! \n \nJob Overview\n\nManage all day-to-day/tactical
procurement activities for Cambrex's Longmont, CO and Agawam, MA
facilities under the direction of Management, including maintenance
of item master, supplier, and inventory data in applicable ERP
system. This role will also coordinate across Cambrex ESDT sites.
\n \nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Work with internal production and
quality teams to plan, understand material requirements and ensure
material availability to support the production schedule, including
tracking testing and specification requirements. \n* Track and
obtain updates on orders and monitor delays in availability.
Identify alternative vendors if necessary. \n* Work with suppliers
to meet delivery requirements and achieve best pricing, manage the
requisite purchase orders, and improve supplier
performance/delivery. \n* You will perform necessary transactions
in ERP system to record consumption and goods receipts \n* Support
the shipping and receiving department, which may include lifting
and working in a warehouse environment at times \n* As Purchasing,
you will pursue the resolution of possible quality issues within
the Supply Chain and in accordance with the company's quality
policies. \n* You will measure and report on Key Performance
Indicators (i.e., Customer Service, Timeline Deliveries, etc. \n*
Ensure vendor compliance with the Cambrex Supplier Code of Conduct
program and support other corporate initiates. \n
\nQualifications/Skills\n\n--- This is a hybrid position but must
be within commuting distance of either the Longmont, CO or Agawam,
MA facility \n\n --- Procurement experience required. \n --- Strong
project management needed. \n --- Results and detailed-oriented
with strong planning skills. \n --- Ability to work under pressure
and meet deadlines. \n --- Desire to work in a team environment,
including being a key team member. \n --- Must be approachable \n
--- Strong customer service skills to be able to work with internal
and external stakeholders. \n \nEducation, Experience & Licensing
Requirements\n\n--- Minimum 1-3+ years of relevant work experience
in Supply Chain and / or Procurement position \n --- Use of ERP
business systems required. Great Plains or SAP experience
preferred. \n --- CPIM or CSCP certification from APICS preferred.

\n\nThe hiring range in Colorado for this position is $70,000-
$90,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on
job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience of the
applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data. This
information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. This
