Mechanical Production Technician candidate for our Longmont, CO
facility.Job Description:This role is responsible for constructing,
assembling, wiring, and plumbing electro-mechanical assemblies and
automation equipment aimed at pharmaceutical distribution.This
equipment can vary in size, weight, and degree of complexity. Much
of this equipment requires versatility, agility, heavy lifting, and
ability to work in various positions for extended periods of time
to be constructed correctly. This job has electrical and mechanical
aspects, with much of the work being mechanical and routing of
cabling.Candidates applying for this opportunity must be willing to
perform all functional aspects of the position and willing to do
all the mechanical, as well as electrical tasks in order to
complete a quality machine build.An ideal candidate for this role
is familiar with mechanical prints, electrical and pneumatic
schematics, bill of materials, redline processes, troubleshooting
build processes, AC/DC wiring theory, high and low voltage
enclosure wiring and more.This is a full-time, hourly position
($23-$26) with benefits.McKesson offers the following

7am-4pmKey Responsibilities:Working in a production environment,
performing repetitive tasks from time to time, agility and heavy
lifting must be considered by all candidates.Product builds,
including small pre-assembly work to final machine/conveyor
assembly. Pre or Sub-assemblies that require mechanical,
electrical, and pneumatic componentsGeneral project knowledge and
support from start to finish to meet schedules. Interpret
drawings/BOM's for project build, including wire routing and
pneumatics. Maintain an organized and tidy work environment.
Drilling and tapping holes to mount large frame weldments that
encase automation components for pharmacies, and central
fills.Completing all aspects of machine build to pre-determined
quality standards as defined by the Manufacturing Manager.Minimum
Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent3 years
manufacturing/mechanical technician experience or equivalent
educationMust be mechanically inclined and have knowledge of hand
tools and/or well as basic electric/pneumatic tools.Electrical
experience along with the ability to read schematics.Must be able
to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably in a repetitive environmentAble to
lift up to 20 lbs over your headExperience working in shop-style
production setting, work type is not assembly line or benchtop
work.Preferred Skills:Have a basic understanding of safety rules,
OSHA and PPE requirements Proven good hand-eye coordinator and
mechanical aptitudeBonus: Associate degree in Automation, Robotics,
Engineering Tech, Manufacturing, or related fieldCareer Level -
