Job Description:
For this opening we will consider candidates from the following
locations: Mobile,AL,United States - , United
States;Longmont,CO,United States;Omaha,NE,United States
BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for serving as the first-line technical support for
assigned area of responsibility in order to provide solutions for
cases utilizing established documented procedures. Will also Run
daily queries to identify error codes within mediation system (e.g.
UMS, etc.), once identified, follow documented procedures to clear
error codes; otherwise escalate the errors up to senior staff
MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Data Analysis Functions - Serve as first-line technical support for
for assigned area of responsibility providing solutions for cases
utilizing established documented procedures while adhering to
corporate and departmental policies and procedures
Process cases as they enter the department, identifying cases that
need to be escalated to other staff (e.g. Data Engineer, Sr. Data
Engineer, etc.)
Provide department staff (e.g. Data Engineer, Sr. Data Engineer,
etc.) with documentation for cases when requested
Coordinate with internal customers (e.g. Billing, Billing Central
Operations, Account Representatives, etc.) to provide a complete
solution for cases
Run daily queries to identify error codes within mediation system
(e.g. UMS, etc.), once identified, follow documented procedures to
clear error codes; otherwise escalate the errors up to senior staff
members
Check alerts inbox within email system to identify data stoppages
and take corrective action to resolve the issue
Update existing reports, to be utilized by upper-level management,
with current data ensuring accuracy and is completed in a timely
manner
Escalate any undocumented cases for further research and processing
the other staff (e.g. Data Engineer, Sr. Data Engineer, etc.)
Responsible for serving as a part of a rotation of on call
employees to assist in addressing trouble tickets and emergencies
after normal business hours
Project Assistance - Participate in the activities associated with
a variety of departmental projects.
Prepare reports, material and documentation
Create organized project files
Provide project lead with status reports throughout assigned
projects
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associates degree in business, computer science, MIS, or related
field required.
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, MIS, or related
field preferred.
Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted
for educational requirements.
Experience
Minimum three years progressively responsible experience in
business providing technical client support preferred
Technical Knowledge
Minimum one year of experience using SQL required
Other
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
Ability to be on call 24 hours a day as required

For candidates located in Colorado, the hiring range is expected to
be between $65,000 and $73,000 per year.
