Responsibilities

Weatherford Fishing Tool Supervisors have a demanding, hands-on job that makes use of the latest technologies to deliver solutions for our clients, applying extensive diversified knowledge and fishing best practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.

  • Supervise all on-site and down-hole operations and operates with a great deal of autonomy and responsibility.
  • Use of advanced techniques in the modification or extension of theories and practices to complete assignments.
  • Works on a major project or several projects of moderate scope with complex features.
  • Reviews project documents for conformity and quality assurance and acts as technical specialist or adviser to management and staff.
  • Acts as a liaison for internal and external customers and ability to provide down-hole solutions for intervention issues. Help generate business to increase revenues through sales of Weatherford products and services.
  • Perform maintenance & repairs on company owned rental equipment in the field as needed.
  • Accurate & thorough completion of job reports on a timely basis.
  • Participate in all JHA, Tailgate & safety meetings related to current operations
  • Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
  • Comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
  • Ensure work assignments are carried out to the highest quality level.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED
    • 3+ years Fishing experience
    • Open/Cased Hole Fishing experience
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Valid and clean driver license
    • Extensive down hole and operational knowledge
    • Must be proficient in calculating basic oil industry volumes, pressures and forces
    • Mechanically inclined
    • Able to work closely with internal and external customers
    • Must be a problem solver
    • Basic computer skills
    • MS Office Word and Excel
    • Self-motivator, self-starter
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Must be able to follow instructions
    • Must be available on call 24/7
