About our group:


We are a highly motivated team within Enterprise Data Storage chartered with delivering applications and services to provide a cohesive management and data experience across Seagates consumer to enterprise devices.

About the role - you will:


  • Join an exciting team thats crafting an entirely new software stack to facilitate data mobility and management across Seagate devices from the edge to the cloud
  • Have an opportunity to develop a wide range of software including embedded device agents to cloud orchestration services
  • Design and implement full-stack orchestration services for data mobility and device management in a large-scale cloud environment
  • Develop and execute software test plans
  • Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging of software
  • Collaborate and interact with developers from across Seagates enterprise and consumer product lines
  • Interact with product management and test organizations to scope solution requirements and software features to align with the delivery roadmap

Your experience includes:


  • Language proficiency in Javascript or other modern programming language
  • Thorough knowledge of Test automation using Python and Selenium
  • Familiarity with test frameworks such as PyTest, Avocado, Mocha
  • Strong administrative-level knowledge of Linux and Networking
  • Experience with modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS frameworks or CSS pre-processors
  • Experience defining and developing REST based interfaces
  • Development experience in web applications, mobile applications, distributed systems, databases, networking, or software security
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science and 8+ years experience, or Masters degree in the same and 5+ years experience, or equivalent education and experience

You may also have:

  • Docker setup / configuration
  • Kubernetes
  • SaaS (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Heavy exposure to Jenkins, GitLab, CI/CD

Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated salary range for this position: $96,000- $132,000 yearly. Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
