We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit is seeking an Yard Driver- Ash & Trucks will be responsible for performing industrial labor and other physically demanding work outdoors, under potentially adverse conditions, as well as within the facility/plant work environment. This position requires experience operate a Combination Vehicle, Truck/Trailer (Shag Truck) -required, full-time position offering $26.50 Hourly Pay with OT, along with career growth and advancement opportunities. We are searching for a safety-oriented and reliable individual to join our team in Kimball, NE. This is 4- 12 hour shifts per week, Day Shift except, 1 week 4-12 hour shifts- 2nd Shift (12p-12a). Competitive wages Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment Group 401K with company matching component Own Part of the Company with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times Operates industrial equipment, included but not limited to Combination Vehicle, Truck/Trailer (Shag Truck)-required Performs general labor throughout the facility to preparing materials for the incineration process Ensures the safety of him or herself as well as those around them Performs manual tasks such as cleaning up spills when necessary while taking all safety precautions necessary to prevent injury Follows all standard operating procedures Other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent- required Previous experience with (industrial or manual) labor Must be willing to work On-call and needed and live within 45-minutes of the facility Ability to work in team environment DOT Training-preferred Ability to work in adverse environments (cold/heat) An excellent commitment to health and safety Combination Vehicle, Truck/Trailer (Shag/Yard Truck)- required Climb on and off forklifts Ability to perform multiple tasks Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste Climb up and down vertical ladders Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit) Good hand/eye coordination Valid Driver's License- required Punctuality and attendance consistent- required Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
