Job Description:
Description Responsible for designing/documenting processes,
system implementation, testing, and production support including
soliciting, understanding, and documenting the customer’s
requirements, processes and workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve
application support issues in a timely and accurate manner as well
as work with business users on functional testing and provide
status reports as needed. Note : There is one position available,
and this position will be filled at one of four job grade levels:
IT Application Analyst I, job grade 8; IT Application Analyst II,
job grade 9; or IT Application Analyst III, job grade 10. This
decision will be based on the qualifications and experience of the
selected candidate and Tri-State business needs at the time of

Hiring Salary Range: $109,000-$139,000 IT Application Analyst II
Hiring Salary Range: $98,000-$124,000 IT Application Analyst I
Hiring Salary Range: $72,000-$88,000 Responsibilities Analyze
business processes and application needs to provide effective
system support. Gather, document, and validate requirements;
perform gap analysis and estimate impact with technical teams.
Create clear functional specifications and collaborate with
developers, QA, vendors, and stakeholders through design, testing,
and deployment. Support system testing, performance monitoring,
issue resolution, and reporting. Develop user documentation and
training, provide analyst guidance, and recommend enhancements,
upgrades, and emerging technologies. Perform application
administration including user maintenance and SSL certifications.
Keep in touch with emerging technological trends, and standards in
providing business users with requested functionality and on-going
support. Recommend, schedule, and perform software enhancements,
patches, and upgrades. Because Tri-State is an electric utility
with continuous service obligations to its customers, regular,
reliable, and predictable performance of the essential functions
and responsibilities is an essential function of the job. Because
Tri-State has an obligation to provide continuous, reliable
electric service to its customers, the ability to work overtime at
any time of the day or week is considered an essential function of

thorough analysis of assigned work. Qualifications Education and
Training: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance,
Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and/or
experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Ability: Working knowledge of
any of the enterprise or business applications such as Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Content Management, Event
management application, Safety applications, Collaboration, or
Business Intelligent platforms. Understanding of business analysis
principles, processes, and techniques. Ability to develop and
prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical
requirements. Ability to understand and represent the needs of the
end user in a software development environment. Strong consultative
and advisory skills. Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning
and understanding new products or platforms. Excellent
communications skills, both oral and written with ability to
explain complex issues in clear, concise, persuasive language.
Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and
products. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong
focus on customer service. Highly motivated and self-directed; able
to effectively prioritize and execute while under pressure. Highly
adaptable and flexible; able to adjust quickly to new situations
and changing priorities. Ability to work both independently and in
a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Other: Willingness to
