For this opening we will consider candidates from the following locations: Longmont,CO,United States - Intrado's Life and Safety team is currently adding a Mobile Developer to our --Longmont office. --The Mobile Developer will be supporting our Safety Shield Suite. We are looking for a strong developer who is self-starter, eager to learn new tools and products and who is flexible and has ability to work within an environment that is fast paced and with a distributed team.Safety Shield is a highly scalable and distributed cloud service based in AWS. Core components include React, PHP, Apache and PostgreSQL RDS services with RESTful API's and various, modern, responsive web front ends, along with Android & iOS mobile applications and wearable safety devices.-- Safety Shield is an end-to-end safety management platform that enables faster and more accurate emergency response and offers a wide range of emergency response capabilities.-- Safety Shield include customizable event triggers like active shooter, suspicious activity, medical along with real-time reunification, attendance and drill management.Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, and unit test new enhancements that meet business or performance improvement requirements.
• Research, lead, participate and document design reviews and decision.
• Participate in project planning and estimation.
• Participate in agile software development ceremonies.
• Keep up to date on new products, development tools, industry trends, and methodologies.
• Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or a related field required, however equivalent experience may be substituted for educational requirements.EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
    • Three plus years of solid programming experience with 3+ years of ReactNative development for medium to large size mobile apps
    • JavaScript/Typescript expert skilled in React.
    • Familiar with state management patterns and solutions such as Redux
    • Experience with mobile app distribution and release frameworks
    • Experience working on agile software development teams.
    • Effective communication and presentation skills
    • Experience working with version control systems such as Git.

Candidates may be eligible for differential pay based on shift worked and premium pay for overtime and/or being on call.
