Who Are We?

Toro Robotics Colorado is a cutting-edge, fast-paced software development team looking for self-starters who enjoy challenges and learning new things. In this position, you will be responsible for the development and support of a suite of dynamic cloud service, system API, and client application interface test and validation processes. This person will function as a focal point for maintaining and extending all facets of our service validation strategy.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

• Experience with a testing infrastructure (e.g., JUnit, Cucumber, etc.)
• Demonstrate the use of QA best practices, use cases and procedures
• Experience in building or testing user interfaces, service APIs and/or data storage solutions
• Experience with CI/CD solutions, Blue/Green or Canary deployment strategies
• Experience with Git, VS Code, Docker/Kubernetes, Gradle
• Experience with Linux and/or embedded operating systems (Yocto/Bitbake, Buildroot)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience collaborating with others Bonus:
  • Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Experience with MQTT, IoT, PKI
  • Experience with threat surface modeling and other security/penetration testing
  • Experience with Gradle
  • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Experience in building or testing web or mobile applications
  • Experience with functional safety related software development and standards (e.g. from industrial or automotive applications, avionics) a major plus What Do You Need?
    
    To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
    • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required.
    • MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering-bonus, not required Engineer Level 1-0-2 years experience of relevant programming experience in one of : Python, Java, Go, Bash, et al. Plus same level of quality assurance/test development (BDD, Matlab).
      
      Engineer Level 2-2-4 years experience of relevant programming experience in one of: Python, Java, Go Bash, et al. Plus same level of quality assurance/test development (BDD, Matlab).
      
      MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES.

      Competitive Salary - The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $ 70000 - 120000 . Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package.
