Group is hiring a Network/Telecommunication Manager to join our
team! This position allows you to work fully remote! Intrado's Life
& Safety division is responsible for some critical parts of our
everyday life. Our solutions are responsible for everything that
happens after a 9-1-1 call is placed - call routing, delivery,
location determination and data management. Whether you call from a
landline, cell phone or text 9-1-1, we make sure first responders
get the right information at the right time so they can save lives.
As a Manger with Intrado, you will be responsible for Managing,
providing leadership, and budgets for teams performing development,
design and system enhancement for one or more information
technology functions. Develops goals and expectations, frequently
delegates tasks, and provides strategic guidance to
cross-functional teams to identify and produce recommendations
based on business needs and opportunities. Coordinates and ensures
accuracy and efficiency of team results. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: -
- Manage the day-to-day activities of assigned staff in providing
efficient, secure, and properly maintained programs and/or systems
which meet end user needs
- Serve in an ongoing partnership with end users, providing
consultative advice and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of
business operations
- Monitor the activities associated with writing quality code
based on given requirements and deadlines, ensuring consistency in
methods
- Define and oversee the activities involved in thoroughly
testing and implementing programs and/or systems completed by
assigned staff
- Organize cross-training efforts of staff members to ensure
there is adequate support of products developed
- Participate in researching new products and development tools,
keeping up-to-date on industry trends for incorporation into the
Company's platform
- Lead and participate in support activities, which includes
providing a single point of contact for end users and determining
if the service request is within the department scope
- Ensure that high levels of end user satisfaction are provided
during each point of contact
- Serve as point of escalation for issues that arise and complete
related follow-up activities
- Coach, develop, and mentor subordinates to achieve quality
performance while continuing to develop personal management skill
necessary to handle unique management challenges MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: - Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university required with major course work in computer
science, MIS, electrical engineering, business, or a related field
is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may
be substituted for education requirements. EXPERIENCE:
- Typical candidate will have 6+ years of experience in MIS
engineering or computer science, including leadership or
supervisory experience
- Extensive background in telecommunications and a strong
skillset in IP telephony and networking
- Previous experience with network design, VoIP protocols,
routing management and troubleshooting
- Previous experience supporting Sonus/Ribbon Gateways/Policy
routing, Oracle SBCs (or similar), SIP implementations and Media

hiring salary for this position is anticipated between $115,000
-and $135,000 per year and will be commensurate with experience.
Candidates may be eligible for differential pay based on shift
worked and premium pay for overtime and/or being on call.
