Pay: $25-$30/hr
Schedule: 9/80 schedule, start time between 7:30am-9am
Position Type: Temporary (-6 months)
Start Date: 5/20/24
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responds to inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and
programs.
Handles recruitment for temporary positions.
Manages pre-employment screenings, onboarding, orientation, and
offboarding activities.
Responds to inquiries regarding employee benefits, leave requests,
and reasonable accommodation requests.
Supports monitoring employee relations as needed.
Supports in motivating managers/supervisors to ensure consistent,
equal, and fair treatment of all employees.
Handles Unanet requests such as creating new accounts, running
reports, and adding job codes.
Assists with development and maintenance of "confidential" employee
records.
Manages HR metrics and reporting for the site such as headcount,
terminations, OSHA, work anniversaries---etc.
Works with Corporate HR on maintaining accurate information within
HRIS.
Assists with company events; Veterans Day recognition ceremony,
Holiday party, Employee appreciation summer picnic and other events
as needed.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws, staying up
to date on any recent changes.
Exercises discretion and independent judgment when dealing with
critical matters.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
(1 or more years)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of human resources regulations, state and federal
employment law, and relevant administration practices.
Competent computer skills in MS Office.
Knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems highly desirable but not
required.
