Integrating this data allows call takers, dispatchers, and first responders to make more informed decisions, respond quickly and safely, and ultimately serve their communities better.
Intrado is looking to a hire a -Senior HR & Payroll Coordinator to join our team. -The Senior HR & Payroll Coordinator is responsible for a variety of Payroll and HR inquiries and transactions, which includes processing payroll, responding to HR-related inquiries, supporting all aspects of HR through performing administrative/tactical-related tasks. This position performs duties under minimum supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures. -
Essential Duties:

  • Support many HR functions, which may include employee relations, benefits, leaves, invoicing, basic reporting, and data management
    • Consult, advise, and instruct employees with regard to HR policies, benefit plan provisions, enrollment, eligibility for benefits, employee relations, payroll information and/or leave of absence, etc. -
    • Inquiries received via phone, email and/or instant messaging
    • Provide timely response to inquiries from within and outside the organization, including accounting, managers, employees, government, and other third-party agencies utilizing knowledge and interpretation of policies, procedures, and legislation
    • Process and audits payroll data to ensure the timely and accurate transmission and completion of the payroll process while adhering to policies and procedures
    • Act as a subject matter expert and/or resource to others in the area of payroll processing
    • Ensure accurate / timely bi-weekly payroll processing and payroll statutory activities while maximizing efficiencies, maintaining operational standards, and adhering to department policies and procedures
    • Act as a liaison with all Government agencies and assist with internal / external audits
    • Assist with implementation and testing of any payroll related applications or software
    • Ensure daily work is completed in a timely and accurate manner including the resolution of punch exceptions and premium hours
    • Generate and verify applicable payroll reports and employee time sheets in order to ensure that employee paychecks coincide with the amount of hours worked
    • Coordinate direct deposit and pay card enrollments and ongoing maintenance as well as
    • Perform routine maintenance activities related to payroll-related systems escalating more complex problems to supervisor as required
    • Respond, maintain, and disburse all types of wage attachments in a timely and accurate manner ensuring adherence to federal and state laws as well as internal procedures and policies
      Education:
      • High school diploma or GED required
      • Associate degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, business, or a related field preferred
        Experience:
        • 3+ year payroll and general HR support experience required preferable in a global, multi-location company
        • 2+ years' experience in Payroll required
        • Strong ADP knowledge
        • Basic knowledge of Word and Excel required
        • Hybrid work environment with a requirement of working from our Longmont office 2 times a week

          The anticipated starting wage range for this position is $28 - 29.79 an hour and will be commensurate with experience.ABOUT US Intrado's Life & Safety division is responsible for some critical parts of our everyday life.
