Job Description:

We're searching for an energetic person with excellent communication and customer service skills to be our next restaurant shift lead. You'll be in charge of running the shift, which will entail greeting and serving clients, supervising the crew and restaurant operations. As a shift lead, you'll be responsible for scheduling employees, delegating work to restaurant employees, handling customer complaints, and ensuring that all food and beverage safety rules are followed. You'll bring strong organizational and team-building abilities, as well as past food-service expertise. If this describes you, please apply immediately!

Your earning potential, including benefits and tips, typically will vary between $24 and $30 per hour depending upon the day of the week, and staff on floor.

In addition to hourly base wage:



--- You will earn 1 hour of PTO for every 30 hours of work
--- $1 per hour Wellness Allowance
--- You will earn tips on any tables you serve (in case we are short-staffed or not busy). We have tip share in place, but servers keep 70% or more of their tips
--- 401(k) Participation (employer match kicks in after 1 year where we match up to 4% of your contributions)

Responsibilities:

Schedule shifts, train and oversee restaurant employees to boost productivity levels and ensure compliance
Delegate activities to employees and make sure they are executed efficiently and successfully
Respond to customer issues in a timely, efficient, and polite manner
Assume the responsibilities of employees who are unable to perform their shifts
Keep track of inventory and make sure every area is fully stocked by ordering supplies and coordinating product deliveries


Qualifications:

Prior food service experience is required, as well as the ability to perform different restaurant employee roles
A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
Previous management or supervisory experience is required
Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
Experience with MS Office and other computer skills desired
