Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 05/11/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Shift: Rotating- 3x 12 /n/nWork Experience:/n Possesses expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique and combines the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical /n/n procedures, and implementation of tools and technologies in performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Functions with /n/n working knowledge of AORN standards. /n/n 2. Maintains and checks all items for proper packaging, processing, moisture, seal and packaging integrity, sterile indicator if present, and /n/n expiration dates. Ensures that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly and the operative procedure is /n/n conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. /n/n 3. Monitors sterile field for events that may contaminate, interfere, or alter field and initiates or notifies of need for corrective action under /n/n supervision /n/n/n /n/nLicense:/n/nCST/n/n /n/nCertifications: /nBLS/CPR Certification./n/n ProKatchers Job ID 295167.
