Radiation Therapist Location: Scottsbluff, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,046 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiation Oncology Specialty: Radiation Therapist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, some days may require 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required Description: Responsible and accountable for radiation oncology procedures as prescribed and directed by the radiation oncologist. Records delivery of patient treatments in a complete and timely manner. Demonstrates clinical skills in providing patient care by utilizing effective communication skills when interacting with patients, families, other employees, and physicians. Performs ancillary duties, such as processing films and assisting with darkroom functions. Answers telephone calls and accurately transfers calls. Assists with the transportation of patients to and from the department. Restocks supplies and notifies the appropriate person when supplies need to be ordered. Maintains a safe and clean work environment. This position operates under performance expectations. If it is determined that a traveler is not meeting those expectations, the contract will be terminated immediately. Holiday coverage may be required.
