UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered healthcare, is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer and Quality Educator to join our dedicated team in Colorado. This role encompasses the dual responsibilities of providing expert-level sonographic imaging and spearheading educational initiatives to maintain and elevate the quality standards of cardiac imaging services. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in non-invasive diagnostics through advanced echocardiography and contribute to continuous professional development by designing and delivering training programs for new and existing staff. Perform high-quality echocardiographic studies according to the current protocols. Analyze images and provide initial diagnostic information to the consulting cardiologist. Develop, coordinate, and conduct training and continuous education for sonography personnel. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards in imaging practices. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain documentation and patient records with high accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in the development of new imaging techniques and protocols. Proficiency in echocardiography imaging and interpretation. Strong teaching and mentoring abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
