a dynamic Blood Cancer Unit focused on oncology patients at an
18-bed med-surg unit located in Littleton, CO. This contract
opportunity is ideal for compassionate Registered Nurses with

Location Overview: Situated in Littleton, CO, this facility offers

atmosphere. The unit itself is located on the 8th floor of a modern
medical center renowned for excellence in oncology care. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology
patients on the Blood Cancer Unit (Unit 632). Administer
medications, blood products, and manage electrolyte replacements
under unit protocols. Participate in advanced procedures including
lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies (with or without sedation),
and thoracentesis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to
ensure high standards of patient safety and quality care outcomes.
Adhere to unit guidelines related to chemo/biotherapy certification
and safe handling of hazardous drugs. Maintain meticulous
documentation and utilize EMR systems (Meditech) efficiently.
Support and uphold a culture of teamwork, knowledge sharing, and
compassionate patient care. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current RN licensure with experience in oncology nursing.
Compassionate approach with commitment to oncology patient
populations and managing chronic conditions. Quick learner
comfortable in an acute hematology setting. Preferred: Chemo and
biotherapy certification. Preferred: Experience with step-down
level patients and use of standing orders (e.g., fluid bolus, fever
management). Shift Schedule: Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM Unit
