UCHealth invites applications for the position of Radiography Technologist, an essential role within our patient-focused healthcare services. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others and capable of working with sophisticated radiographic equipment. Our Radiography Technologists are integral to our nonprofit system, responsible for delivering expert imaging services that support accurate medical diagnoses and patient care management at our state-of-the-art facilities across Colorado. Operate radiographic technology to perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to prescribed protocols. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. Maintain radiographic equipment, performing regular checks and reporting malfunctions as required. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to optimize imaging procedures and patient care strategies. Participate in continuous education and training sessions to stay abreast of technological advancements in the field of radiography. Proficiency in using various radiographic imaging equipment and technology. Strong understanding of safety protocols associated with radiation. Ability to interpret physicians' orders effectively and accurately. Excellent patient management skills to ensure comfort and cooperation. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and patient interaction. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Required: Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Preferred: Additional certification in a radiography sub-specialty.
