This position offers the unique opportunity to work within an innovative network providing patient-centered care across an extensive array of specialties. The ideal candidate will be an integral member of our healthcare team, dedicated to delivering exceptional neuro critical care and enhancing patient outcomes through the use of advanced treatments and technologies. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions related to neurological disorders. Operate life support systems under the guidance of healthcare professionals. Collaborate with neurosurgeons and other medical professionals to plan, implement, or evaluate patient treatment plans. Prep and recover patients for and from various forms of surgery. Manage medication doses, anesthesia, and ventilatory support. Provide education and support to patient families regarding neuro critical conditions and treatment plans. Proficiency in neurologic patient care Ability to operate complex machinery and monitoring equipment Critical thinking under pressure Exceptional coordination and communication skills In-depth knowledge of neurological disorders and treatment Expertise in ICU protocol and safety measures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license BLS/ACLS Certification CCRN Certification preferred as evidence of specialized competence and knowledge in neuro critical care
