UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system in Colorado, seeks a dedicated Travel RN for our Special Care Nursery. This role is critical in providing high-level care for newborns who require special attention. The successful candidate will administer treatments, monitor vital signs, and support both infants and their families in a dynamic hospital environment, ensuring our youngest patients receive the best possible care during their early days. Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for newborns Monitor patient health and progress, adjust care plans as needed Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Educate and support families during their newborn’s hospital stay Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive care Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records Ensure compliance with hospital and state regulations at all times Strong clinical skills in neonatal care Ability to work effectively under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using medical software and patient care equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license CPR certified Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
