Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading Colorado-based nonprofit health care system,
is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN)
specialized in Dialysis to join our dynamic team. This position
involves providing top-notch care in the management of patients
undergoing dialysis treatments. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for monitoring patient health conditions, administering
treatments, and providing emotional support to patients and their
families. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of
high-quality care and enhancing patient outcomes at our advanced
healthcare facilities. Assess, diagnose, and administer dialysis
treatments to patients in accordance with healthcare standards.
Monitor and adjust fluid removal rates according to patient
condition and doctors' orders. Ensure the dialysis machine and
other medical equipment are properly set up and used according to
the specified guidelines. Communicate effectively with patients and
their families, providing essential information on treatment, care
plans, and health maintenance. Maintain accurate and comprehensive
patient records. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to
formulate holistic patient care plans. Proficiency in operating
dialysis machines and related medical equipment. Strong clinical
skills in a hospital setting. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced
environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
State of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification. Certification in
Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is
highly desirable.
