HealthONE, an esteemed part of the HCA Healthcare network in Aurora, CO, is seeking a dedicated, PRN Interventional Radiology Specialist I to join our remarkable team of medical professionals. This role is vital in our mission to provide top-tier, compassionate and specialized interventional radiology services to a diverse group of patients. The selected candidate will operate advanced radiology equipment to perform vascular and nonvascular interventional radiography, ensuring patient safety and adherence to healthcare protocols. Perform complex vascular and nonvascular interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of a physician. Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining methods, answering questions, and providing physical and emotional support. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols. Document procedure details, observations, and outcomes within patient records. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to assess, plan and evaluate patient care plans. Participate in on-call duties and emergency interventions as required. Proficiency in using interventional imaging equipment Strong understanding of radiologic safety and protection principles Excellent patient management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment High-level of detail orientation and accuracy in procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
