Job Description:
UCHealth invites applications for the position of RN Clinical
Coordinator Educator specialized in Invasive and Non-Invasive
Cardiology. This role is pivotal in enhancing our cardiology
services by supporting both clinical practice and education. The
Coordinator will focus on the integration and implementation of
educational strategies and clinical competencies to improve patient
outcomes in our cardiology departments. This role requires a blend
of clinical expertise in cardiology, leadership in clinical
settings, and a passion for teaching and staff development. Develop
and implement educational programs tailored to the needs of the
invasive and non-invasive cardiology departments. Oversee the
clinical training and ongoing education of nursing staff in
cardiology procedures and practices. Collaborate with other
healthcare professionals to establish evidence-based practices.
Evaluate clinical practices and patient outcomes, making
recommendations for improvements. Provide direct support and
mentorship to nursing staff in both invasive and non-invasive
cardiology settings. Assist in the research and integration of new
technologies and treatments into clinical practice. Ensure
compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all
educational and clinical practices. Strong knowledge of cardiology,
particularly invasive and non-invasive procedures Excellent
leadership and educational skills Ability to develop and implement
clinical education programs Proficient in using medical software
and patient management systems Strong organizational and
communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado Certification in Cardiology Nursing (e.g.,
CCRN) preferred BLS/ACLS certified
