UCHealth is seeking a Manager of Transplant Services for Heart & Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD). This role is crucial in managing the transplant service line, ensuring efficient operations while delivering high-quality care aligned with the advanced therapeutic needs of our patients. This position involves strategic planning, staff management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and service efficiency. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a supportive environment for staff and patients alike. Oversee daily operations of the heart and VAD transplant programs. Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve transplant service quality and patient outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including surgeons, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure cohesive service delivery. Manage budget, staffing, and resource allocation effectively. Ensure compliance with national health regulations and standards for transplant services. Participate in research and development initiatives to advance transplant methodologies and patient care techniques. Lead a team by providing direction, setting goals, and promoting professional growth through training and mentorship. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities In-depth knowledge of transplant service operations and medical compliance requirements Ability to manage complex budgets and resources Proficiency in using medical management software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in Clinical Transplant Coordination preferred Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Colorado
