Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our
Acute Care Neuroscience department, dedicated to providing
outstanding and compassionate care to patients with neurological
disorders. This position entails close collaboration with an
interdisciplinary team to support patient treatment plans and
ensure superior care in a high-paced environment. The successful
candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients,
administering medications, and educating patients and their
families on conditions related to neurological disorders. Assess,
plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neuroscience
patients Monitor patient conditions continuously and react promptly
to any changes Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care Administer
medications, track vital signs, and document patient progress
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their
families about neuroscience conditions Ensure all healthcare
regulations and safety standards are met Assist in research and
advancements in neuroscience nursing practices Strong understanding
of neuroscience patient care techniques Proficiency in using
medical software for patient records and hospital management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage
high-stress situations Aptitude for teamwork and patient-centered
care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of Colorado BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart
Association or equivalent Neuroscience Nursing Certification (CNRN)
