Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician
Inpatient I to join our dynamic team. This position offers the
opportunity to work within a patient-centric environment,
supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting in the preparation
and distribution of medications. As a part of our team, you will
contribute to UCHealth’s mission of delivering high-quality
healthcare through innovative practices and compassionate service.
Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of
medications. Manage medication supplies ensuring they are stored
and handled appropriately. Maintain accurate patient medication
records. Participate in the inventory management and compliance
auditing. Prepare sterile products including but not limited to
chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition. Knowledge of pharmacy
practice and medical terminology. Ability to handle and prepare
sterile compounds. Excellent organizational skills and
detail-oriented. Strong communication skills for effective
collaboration with healthcare team. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Pharmacy
Technician (CPhT) preferred. Registered with the State Board of
Pharmacy.
