Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational
Employee Health Nurse RN to join our team, leveraging their
expertise in nursing to improve employee health across our network.
This role focuses on the prevention and management of workplace
injuries, the promotion of health and safety practices, and the
management of occupational health programs. The ideal candidate
will bring a proactive approach to health management, helping to
sustain a healthy and productive workforce within a leading
Colorado-based healthcare system. Assist in the development and
implementation of health and safety programs. Conduct
pre-employment health screenings and periodic health assessments.
Provide treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses. Advise
on workplace health promotions and disease prevention strategies.
Manage case documentation and follow-up care for workplace
incidents. Collaborate with HR on the management of employee health
records. Deliver training and education sessions on health and
wellness topics to staff. Strong clinical skills with a focus on
occupational health. Ability to perform physical examinations and
health assessments. Proficiency in the use of medical software and
record keeping. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
Colorado. Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or similar
certification preferred.
