Job Description:

UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Acute Care Cardiac unit for night shifts. This role is essential for providing top-tier patient care in our state-of-the-art facilities across Colorado. As a pivotal part of our healthcare team, you will work closely with cardiac care professionals to administer care, manage patient health records, and monitor heart conditions. Monitor and record patients' heart conditions through various methods, adjust care plans as needed Administer medications, maintain IV lines, and perform other health interventions as prescribed Coordinate with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care for cardiac patients Educate patients and families on heart health, preventative measures, and post-hospital care Participate in continuous educational programs to enhance nursing knowledge and skills Proficiency in using medical software for charting and documentation Strong skills in cardiac care and life support techniques Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR certified ACLS certification preferred
