Job Description:
UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered care based in Colorado,
seeks an experienced Clinical Educator for Nursing within the
Critical Care department. This role focuses on enhancing the
competencies of our nursing staff by designing and conducting
educational programs that promote optimal patient care. As a
Clinical Educator, you will be pivotal in developing and
implementing curriculum and clinical education programs, leveraging
your clinical expertise and educational skills to elevate patient
care standards and optimize outcomes in our critical care units.
This position is essential in fostering a culture of continuous
learning and compliance with the highest healthcare standards.
Assess educational needs and learning styles of nursing staff.
Develop and deliver clear, impactful training materials and
programs. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make
improvements. Stay updated with the latest in critical care and
educational methodologies. Mentor and coach nursing staff towards
clinical excellence. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to
maintain consistency in educational deliverables. Ensure compliance
with healthcare regulations through effective training. Support the
implementation of new technologies and practices in nursing care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to
develop and implement effective training programs. Experience in
clinical instruction within hospital settings. Knowledge of adult
educational theories and applications. Proficiency in multimedia
curriculum delivery and virtual learning platforms. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or similar is highly preferred.
BLS/ACLS certification.
