UCHealth, a recognized leader in comprehensive healthcare services in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN specializing in Burn Trauma Care to join our network of hospitals and outpatient facilities. This unique position offers the opportunity to work within our state-of-the-art burn trauma centers, providing expert care and contributing to the healing of patients enduring burn injuries and trauma-related conditions. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise in burn care, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to high standards of patient safety and outcomes. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients suffering from burn injuries and other trauma conditions. Assess patient conditions through conscientious examination and coordinated communication with the burn care team. Administer treatments, medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions. Monitor patient recovery and adjust care plans based on progress and feedback from patients and healthcare teams. Educate patients and their families on burn injury care, prevention, and post-hospital treatment plans. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in handling patient care and treatments. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records. Travel between multiple UCHealth facilities to support varying levels of patient needs and operational demands. Expertise in burn care and wound management Proficiency in the use of medical software and electronic health records Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Compassionate patient care with a focus on trauma-sensitive approaches Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or eligible compact state RN license Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) specializing in Burn Care is highly preferred but not mandatory BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
