Job Description:
UCHealth is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve in
our Intensive Care Units across the region as part of our Hospital
Float Night team. This role requires flexibility and adaptability
to rotate through multiple ICU settings, providing top-notch
patient-centered care in line with our commitment to excellence and
innovation in healthcare. Our Night Float RNs play a crucial role
in managing the care of patients with critical needs, working
collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery
and ensure medical efficacy. Provide direct and individualized
nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific
nursing principles. Monitor, record, and communicate patient
condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans in
collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed by health care providers. Adjust care to
meet the needs of multiple ICU units during night shifts,
maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Strong
clinical skills in a high-acuity ICU setting Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively
both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Critical
thinking and problem-solving skills Proficiency with electronic
medical record (EMR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license valid in
the state of Colorado BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification ACLS
(Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification preferred
