We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Neuro Medical team for night shifts. This role focuses on providing specialized care to patients with neurological conditions in an acute care setting. You will work in a supportive environment that fosters educational growth and values your expertise in nursing to assist those in critical need. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for neuro medical patients. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and document nursing care. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols. Educate patients and families on management of their condition and post-hospital care. Maintain a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards. Proficiency in neurological assessment techniques. Ability to operate standard medical and monitoring equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Competence in handling severe health situations and making quick decisions under pressure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado or eligible for reciprocity. BLS/CPR certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. ACLS certification desirable. Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) certification is a plus.
