Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurses (RNs) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) through our
exclusive RN Fellowship program, specifically tailored for night
shifts. This program is designed for RNs who wish to advance their
skills in a supportive and technologically advanced environment.
The successful candidate will be part of a team committed to
providing outstanding patient-centered care in alignment with our
mission to improve lives and provide the highest quality healthcare
in Colorado. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the
Progressive Care Unit. Monitor patient health conditions and assess
their needs to provide appropriate care. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate integrated and
comprehensive care. Participate in the development and
implementation of patient care plans. Educate patients and their
families on illness management and prevention. Administer
medications and document therapeutic effects. Adhere to healthcare
safety standards and protocols. Strong clinical skills in a
hospital setting Ability to operate complex medical machinery
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Critical
thinking and problem-solving capabilities Proficient in electronic
health record (EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred
