Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered
Nurse (RN) to join our innovative Observation Unit team in
Colorado. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to
contribute to a patient-centric environment where they can make a
significant impact on patient outcomes. Our observation unit plays
a pivotal role in providing prompt evaluation and short-term
treatment. This position demands a high level of professionalism
and the ability to work swiftly in high-pressure situations while
maintaining the utmost care for patient needs. Assess, monitor, and
ensure patient care through specific assessments and close
monitoring. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by
physicians. Document all activities, results, and relevant patient
interactions. Guide patient and family through the healthcare
process, ensuring a smooth transition and clear communication. Work
collaboratively with other nurses, medical professionals, and
administrative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in unit-based Quality Assurance Program. Adept at
detailed patient assessment including monitoring vital signs and
identifying subtle patient status changes. Strong communication
skills both verbal and written. Ability to administer medications
accurately and safely. Skilled in using medical software for
documentation. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification required at the time of
hire.
