This contract role is based in Longmont, Colorado, providing a dynamic and supportive environment to apply your skills in a high-volume surgical setting. Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid RN license required Demonstrated transplant operating room skill set (kidney and liver transplants preferred) Minimum 3 years experience in perioperative nursing Certification in relevant specialty areas is highly advantageous Proficient in performing and assisting in a wide range of surgical procedures including total joints, spine surgeries, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care in a 16-operating-room setting utilizing the Meditech EMR system Participate in complex surgical cases, including transplant and robotic surgeries Ensure compliance with all unit-specific guidelines, policies, and patient safety standards Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize surgical outcomes Provide expert nursing care during night and weekend call rotations Schedule and Contract Details: 12-hour shifts covering days; availability for night and weekend call required Contract position offering the opportunity to work in a well-established surgical center with access to advanced technology and experienced staff Location Insights:Longmont, CO, provides an excellent blend of small-town charm and access to vibrant metropolitan amenities.
