Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contracted Physical Therapist position is available for a K-12 school setting in Englewood, CO, providing essential leave coverage from early April through late May. This full-time role supports a diverse student population ranging from PreK through High School, spanning six sites and approximately 55 students with physical and multiple disabilities, from mild to severe levels. Key responsibilities include: Delivering specialized physical therapy services across multiple schools in an itinerant role Managing caseloads with individualized treatment plans based on IEPs Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student mobility and accessibility Utilizing pediatric mobility equipment effectively to enhance student participation and independence Maintaining accurate and compliant documentation according to school district and Colorado Department of Education (CDE) standards Qualifications: Active CDE certification as a Physical Therapist is mandatory Prior experience working within Colorado schools, including familiarity with IEP writing processes Expertise in handling physical and multiple disabilities in a school-based environment Ability to manage an itinerant caseload efficiently with strong organizational and communication skills The role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students educational experiences through comprehensive therapy services and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. This position is contract-based for the current school year with full-time hours during the coverage period.
