Summary:The Medical Assistant Lead will perform clinical and
administrative duties under the administrator's direction and
support the team, other leads, and providers.Position Summary:The

other leads, and providers.Primary Duties &
Responsibilities:Oversee medical assistants in their duties and
ensure that competencies and proficiencies are completed.Prepare
employee schedules, approve time sheets, and request time off.Run
stent report monthly and determine if stent was removed, exchanged,
or pending follow-up.Maintain and manage all medical
equipment.Order office and medical supplies through IOS
inventory.Exercise problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
when handling patients.Communication with drug
representatives.Manage CPR renewal.Oversee CLIA and CLIA
inspections.Prepare monthly calendar for rendering provider.Provide
assignments (side work) for medical assistants and ensure it is
being completed.Complete monthly back-office inspection and
document code box and oxygen tanks are in working order.Assist team
and lead members when needed.Create various workflows, policies,
and procedures to enhance staff.Provide excellent customer/patient
services and ensure staff is as well.Provide in-services and
training to staff.Provide monthly meetings with staff to address
issues and concerns.Oversee all medical assistants' and providers'
PAQ, tasks, schedules, and portal messages.Attend meetings as
requested.Exercise problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
when handling patients.Maintain strict patient confidentiality and
privacy following office policies and procedures and HIPAA privacy
and security requirements, and exercise utmost discretion in
patient and staff interactions.Please note this job description is

School Diploma or GED required.Completion of a Medical Assistant
program or two years of Medical Assistant experience in a medical
clinic is required; Urology experience is a plus. (All locations
except for AZ).Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant
program with license or certification required and will be verified
prior to employment (AZ Only).Minimum of two years of leadership
experience required; supervisory preferred.Urology experience is a
plus.Ability to type 40 words per minute.Direct
Reports:N/A.Travel:As part of your position's requirements, you are
expected to travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic
region.Knowledge, Competencies & Skills:Excellent customer service
skills.Attention to detail and willingness to learn.Proficiency in
triaging patients, phlebotomy, administering injections, obtaining
vitals, and processing specimens.Proficient knowledge of medical
terminology, ICD-9, and CPT -4 Codes.Strong communication skills,
both verbal & written.Proficient computer software and database
skills.Comfortable speaking on the phone and working in a
fast-paced environment.Very comfortable asking probing questions to
patients.Must demonstrate a caring, compassionate, and patient
attitude.Maintain HIPAA compliance.Multitasking and proactive
problem-solving.A high level of professionalism.Ability to type a
minimum of 40 words per minute.Physical Requirements for the
Job:Must be able to listen, sit, stand, bend, stoop, and walk
throughout the day.Frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and
occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.Must be in good physical
