Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN)The Peaks Care Center is currently seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Short Term Rehab clinical team!!

* 3 Day Set Schedule 6pm - 6am Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday Night*
* Shift Differential's Ranging from $3.00-$4.00*
* SIGN ON BONUS FT $10,000 / PT $5,000*
* EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS FT $2,000 / PT $1,000*

RESPONSIBILITIES & ATTRIBUTES:

* Monitor patients condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
* Observe and interpret patients symptoms and communicate them to physicians
* Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
* Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients charts
* Adjust and administer patients medication and provide treatments according to physicians orders
* Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
* Provide instant medical care in emergencies
* Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants
* Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
* Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

* Valid and active state-issued Registered Nurse (RN) license.
* Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university required.
* 2-years Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) preferred
* Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* WAGE RANGE: $35.00-$46.18 D.O.E.*
