SummaryServes as a Senior Project Manager for software engineering and IT for current and proposed projects. Plans, documents and executes project plans according to defined timelines, budgets and quality objectives. Coordinate and lead the activities of multiple cross-functional teams to complete projects in support of BI business strategy and objectives.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Project Manager manages software engineering and IT for current and proposed projects to address quality, cost and customer satisfaction issues.Manages engineering projects related to the development and introduction of new products.Manages project plans and schedules from initiation to conclusion to ensure that project milestones and timelines are met.Creates and manages documentation to clearly define scope of projects related to current and proposed projects.Determines staffing resources required to complete project plans. Clearly communicates expectations to team members and stakeholders.The Senior Project Manager provides regular reports on project progress to senior level management and stakeholders.Plans, leads and executes risk mitigation and qualification testing for assigned projects to ensure practical implementation.Leads and participates in concurrent and value engineering efforts to provide continuous improvement of processes and products.Provides technical and engineering analyses to evaluate development issues with software and hardware in preparation for transfer to application.Creates and manages documentation to support new product qualification and regulatory certifications.Serves as a technical liaison with quality, monitoring, manufacturing, purchasing and external suppliers to ensure that product specifications and quality standards are met.Plans and leads preliminary design reviews (PDR) and critical design reviews (CDR) to ensure that all issues are resolved and that functional and marketing requirements are met.Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Technical or Business discipline or equivalent experience required.Coursework in marketing, communications, computer science or related fields preferred.At least five years of experience within project management, software engineering and IT.At least two years of experience in managing engineering projects ranging from moderate to complex.At least five years working with company hardware and software products.Knowledge of and experience with software development or Information Systems from the design process through customer delivery.Experience with mobile applications, development and release to market.Strong working knowledge of project management techniques and practices.Strong working knowledge of software and hardware electronic monitoring products.Ability to communicate effectively with a wide audience, both technical and non-technical.Ability to lead and effectively participate in cross-functional teams in a matrix management environment.Strong customer service skills.Strong organizational skills.Working knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet and graphics applications.Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.Sound business judgment.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.Good writing skills.Strategic business vision.Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.Working Conditions: Encountered on a regular basis as part of the work this job performs.Typical office environment.Travel approximately 5 to 10%.Use of standard office equipment such as copier, computer, keyboard, telephone and fax machine.Your benefits will include:3 weeks paid time off15 paid holidaysMedical, Dental, and Vision coverageTerm and Whole life insurance (includes spouse and dependent)Accidental death and dismemberment insuranceShort- and long-term disabilityFlexible spending account401(k) retirement programStock purchase programTuition reimbursementVarious discount programs
