Job Description Overview:

The Account Manager will provide a vital function to the rapidly growing Signature Visual Solutions (SVS) division of Circle Graphics. This person has an exciting opportunity to work closely with divisional leadership to develop short and long-term account strategies, grow existing account revenue, and promote new business opportunities. Looking for a self-motivated, team player who will seek opportunities to not only grow their business but also their own strengths. Someone who is outgoing and enjoys working with a diverse group of clients across the country.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Account Growth & Acquisition: 60% of position responsibility


  • Support the development, implementation, acquisition and growth strategy for customer accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting relationships with clients
  • Actively pursue new business through enhancing existing relationships and creating new partnerships as well
  • Serve as the point person for day to day contact with mid-level contacts; ensure that CG strategic sales direction is aligned with the client
  • Closely collaborate with current partners on new product recommendations
  • Work with leadership to develop New Business Sales Strategies including identification, qualification, and research of new prospects including phone, e-mail, and social media outreach
  • Assist in creating detailed customer proposals and present Circle Graphics' products and services to prospects
  • Assist in generating new business opportunities through various prospecting techniques while consistently maintaining a sales pipeline and current accounts
  • Promote building new relationships to drive referrals and new sales opportunities
  • Work with leadership to prospect, onboard, grow, manage key accounts
  • Assist in preparation and presentation for onsite/offsite client visits and business reviews

    Account Management: 40% of position responsibility

    • Prepare and communicate customer performance, data trends and industry and competitor analyses to internal and external customers on a regular and on-going basis
    • Provide customers with product information, pricing, and account management support
    • Preparation of new customer set-up documents & paperwork
    • Assist in prioritizing customer requests with internal teams
    • Salesforce and additional proprietary system data entry and order management
    • Assist in forecasting accounts monthly and annual revenue

      EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:

      • 3-4 years related work experience; prior Account Management experience a plus
      • Proven experience in quickly growing sales and making a positive revenue impact

        KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

        • Strong understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
        • Excellent attention to detail and follow through with communication and a sense of urgency for deadlines
        • Ability to develop positive, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams on a per project and ongoing basis
        • Strong Microsoft Office products skills including PowerPoint
        • Highly-developed verbal and written communication skills
        • Ability to "multi-task" while also reassessing priorities on a continual basis
        • Willingness to roll-up sleeves and accomplish any task
        • Ability to self-motivate and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business

          • Proven ability to act independently, exercise judgment and influence people to take appropriate actions
          • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
          • Highly analytical with the ability to pull data from various sources, organize, interpret, and use that data to drive effective solutions in a timely manner
          • Must be approachable and responsive to a variety of people and issues
          • Strong relationship building skills
          • Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure with very little direction at times
          • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers or other departments
          • Willingness to take initiative and make decisions
