an experienced and highly qualified Plumbing/HVAC Service Manager.
The Service Manager needs to have outstanding communication skills
with a great desire to be part of a best-in-class leadership team
that is responsible for managing, developing and executing the
strategic vision for our front range plumbing and HVAC market. This
individual will help grow the market by training new service
technicians, efficiently managing projects, and managing
scheduling/dispatching. This individual will maintain a sense of
urgency, responsibility and resourcefulness with a safety-first
expectation to support and direct all front range services.
Responsibilities: Manage the Service P/L. Forecast staffing
requirements. Communicate company direction, set expectations and
hold team accountable for results. Provide leadership, build a
collaborative team and reward accomplishment of the team.
Effectively prioritize customer calls and manage dispatch
accordingly. Maintain communication with customers and ensure their
expectations are met. Develop and maintain long-term relationships
with customers and subcontractors. Resolve issues or problems that
impact customer satisfaction. Manage the use of Service Titan for
maximum efficiency. Supervise and train the Service Technicians.
Oversee the procurement of parts and supplies. Assist in the timely
resolution of customer issues or complex technical problems
confronted by the technicians. Manage and maintain fleet, parts and
materials inventory, and resolve discrepancies or problems in a
timely manner. Interview, select, hire, and oversee onboarding of
dispatchers, team leads and technicians. Use metrics to drive
accountability and performance. Maintain existing company processes
along with develop and implement others as necessary tied to
efficiency, accuracy and profitability. Ensure use of PPE and the
application of safe behavior, including driving, by all employees.
Hands on approach to ensure crews are completing quality
installations. Resolve invoice disputes with customers as needed
and advise management/leadership on a timely basis if issues cannot
be resolved. Qualifications: 10 years of experience in the
Plumbing/HVAC service industry or a related industry, previous
managerial experience. Knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC principles
and practices, including service hour estimation, labor
forecasting, and multiple disciplines involved in area of
responsibility. Proficiency in understanding and managing P&L.
Demonstrated business acumen. Proficiency in managing multiple
assignments, setting and balancing competing priorities with strong
organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Ability to solve
problems and apply good judgement. Excellent verbal/nonverbal and
written communication and presentation skills. Superior
organizational and time management skills Ability to define
problems/weaknesses, collect data, establish facts, and draw
conclusions. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite – Word,
Outlook, and Excel Experience with Service Titan software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations (Preferred): Master Plumber
