Job Description Job Description Due to our continued growth,
VEGA Americas has an opening for a Field Service Technical Support
person. This position will regularly travel to client sites around
the Denver market ~50% and overnight travel outside the Denver, CO
market up to 50% at times. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable

Install new or modified equipment at customer's facility to ensure
full functionality according to specifications. Prepare radioactive
material for shipment. Reviews performance reports and
documentation from customers and field representatives, and
inspects malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and
scope of problem. Requires overnight travel up to 50% at times.
Analyzes review and inspection findings to determine source of
problem, and recommends repair, replacement, or other corrective
action. Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, customer
service, and other personnel to expedite repairs. Provides remote
and on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair
equipment. Submits complete service reports for customer invoicing.
Submit expense reports within guidelines of company policy.
Analyzes reports of technical problems to determine trends
affecting future design, production, service, and maintenance
processes, and recommends modifications to eliminate future
problems. Develop service handbooks and bulletins based on field
investigations, engineering changes, and overall knowledge of
product. Provide a communication link between the customer and the
company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the
customer. Conducts training on Radiation Safety and the safe
operation of the equipment and demonstrates skills to trainees,
including both team members and customers Education and/or
Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) in Electronics Technology or
equivalent AND six months to one-year related experience and/or
training. OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Driver's License and
driving record which permits renting of vehicles. Personal Credit
Card with ample credit to cover travel expenses. Radiation Safety
Certification Employee must submit to periodic drug screens Pay
