Colorado, 35 miles north of downtown Denver. We care about our

more! The Maintenance Lead is responsible for the oversight of
operations in their department including coordinating employee
priorities to align with dynamic business needs. The Lead should
set a positive example of behavior that drives crew members’
productivity and promotes adherence to Golden Aluminum values. The
position oversees the maintenance and repair of industrial
equipment and facilities, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Responsibilities · The Lead should address all unsafe acts and work
conditions immediately and seek help from leadership and/or safety
staff. · Ensure all injuries, incidents, near misses and
observations within department are properly reported – via Velocity
or orange card. · Adheres to, trains, and helps enforce compliance
to ISO, ASI, EHS procedures. ·Ensure accurate training is being
provided to new or other employees within the department. ·
Function as a communication liaison between department manager and
crew employees as needed. Escalate issues promptly to department
manager as needed. · Advise employee of any noncompliant behavior
(ie. Cell phone use, tardy arrivals) and escalate to manager as
appropriate. · Ensure essential supplies are available; communicate
if running low and obtain as needed from crib/storeroom. ·
Troubleshoots and repairs equipment including but not limited to
mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. ·
Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities leveraging
MaintainX and other systems as needed. · Identifies and resolves
equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing
productivity. · Identifies areas for improvement in the maintenance
processes and proposes solutions to enhance efficiency. · All other
duties assigned. · Able to work any shift (2x2x3 schedule), 12
hours per shifts, alternating day/nights every 6 weeks. · Proven
adherence to company values and demonstrated strong attendance and
dependability record (show up for every scheduled shift on time). ·
Be an encouraging resource to new and existing team members to
learn the job and reach goals. · Promote and monitor safe work
habits including PPE use, adherence to LOTO, confined space, fall
protection, evacuation policies, and timely incident reporting. ·
Promote and be actively involved in continuous, two-way, and
accurate communication with other shifts, with other departments,
with management, and across your crew. · Must have strong
problem-solving skills as well as excellent interpersonal
communication skills. · Must be able to read and interpret
mechanical and electric drawings and Blueprints. · Must possess a
basic understanding and ability to troubleshoot general mechanical
systems such as Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Rotating Assemblies
(bearings, & couplings, gears & gear trains, chains & sprockets,
brakes & clutches, belts & pulleys). · Knowledge in troubleshooting
and rebuilding various types of pumps, e.g. centrifugal, diaphragm,
and piston pumps. · Ability to use precision measurement tools,
including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators. · Experience
with 13.2 volts, DC transformers from 12v to 1200v, 480 vac. ·
Knowledge of Control Logix, Allan Bradley, Automax, Automate and
Modicon. · Use of Fluke 289 multimeter (company provided),
ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes. · Knowledge of AC and
reliance DC drives and Red Lion controls preferred. · Experience
with replacing motor brushes on 1600 hp DC motors down to 5 hp. ·
Knowledge of gas burners is essential. Because Golden Aluminum
