That means ensuring continued growth and development opportunities to help you expand your skills while providing an enjoyable and supportive environment.In this role, you will:Enhance overall safety, quality, and productivity in the Sandwich Making area by eliminating defects, identifying, and executing loss saving initiatives, and building capability in the operating teamsDrive high-performance work culture by engaging with team members on the floor and coaching to problem solve, make decisions, and become self-reliantDevelop an expert level understanding of the manufacturing process, mechanics, instrumentation, and product specifications of your designated line/area; provide technical support to the line/area teamsCoach operating teams and leadership to root cause identification and elimination of lossesAddress gaps in line/area performance through the implementation and effective coaching of Smucker Continuous Improvement methodologies; foster a zero-loss cultureOwn a safety and/or quality key elementMaintain and improve technical and training documentation for the line/areaActive participation in training and qualification programs for designated line/area; participate in assessments, ensure effective training, and maintain consistent qualification standardsResponsible for reliability and quality data for designated line/area in Proficy plant applications software, including improving methods for collecting accurate dataOrganize and prioritize initiatives to help meet department master plan and plant long-term visionManage capital projects and expenditures; may lead multiple projects/initiatives simultaneouslyOwner of the Commissioning, Qualification and Verification (CQV) process for new projectsEmploy effective interpersonal time and resource management skills to complete projects assignmentsHelp organization stay current with applicable new technologies/ingredientsLead and execute plant start up Commissioning, Qualification, and Verification (CQV) activities within the assigned work areaThe Right Role for YouAre you motivated by the chance to help provide quality products consumers count on every day?
