We are seeking highly motivated students to be a part of our RAMP
(Fall Co-Op) program. These paid fall internship opportunities are
designed to jump start your career, offering on-the-job training
and a robust offering of events. As a RAMP participant, you'll work
alongside technology industry professionals on real-world projects,
giving you the tools and experience to get your career off the
ground. Additionally, Ramp participants will attend networking
events, participate in workshops, and present to the WD leadership
As an intern, you will work with some of the best brains in the
storage and drive industries. This strong and capable group
develops and debug firmware for Hard Disk Drives that uses
industry-standard tools and customized processes to deliver value
to our customers, as part of a local team. This opportunity will
give you exposure to a wide range of topics and is highly
cross-functional with the opportunity to learn beyond the team's
main focus. This role is ideal for a motivated independent problem
solver, with strong technical knowledge and communication
- Current student, pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and graduating
between December 2022 and June 2023
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical skills in area of study
- Interest in HDD, flash, semiconductor, components, nonvolatile
- Ability to evaluate and interpret complex engineering data
generated by internal teams or external customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency with programming languages such as Java, C/C++ and
understanding of databases is a plus

Compensation & Benefits Details
- An employee's pay position within the salary range may be based
on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant
education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2)
skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance,
contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6)
internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational

compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may
ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is
only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado or remote jobs
