Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Strategy and Design, the
LYVE Mobile Network Engineer will be a key member of the product
and services team. -We are looking for someone who is passionate
and enthusiastic about architecting and defining our network
infastructure footprint which already spans numerous services,
blending both hardware and software-based services. You will
partner with engineering and program management teams to undersand
customer, business and technical requirements to propose cloud
and/or physical network designs. -You will lead network/code
architecture reviews to ensure designs and modifications meet all
functional, performance, scale and compliance requirements. -The
team will depend on your expertise in identifying risks and
preventing bugs prior to production releases. - -About the role -
you will:In this role, your primary job responsibilities will
include:
--- - - -Designing network topologies, architectures and services
that are critical and cannot fail, must scale easily and cannot
constrain growth and/or innovation.
--- - - -Playing a key role in contributing to the team's roadmap
and helping identify priorities.
--- - - -Designing ahead of customer or technology needs to
futurproof solutions while predicting and solving for problems that
have not yet occurred.
--- - - -Defending high-level design documents you create.
--- - - -Working with vendors/internal stakeholder to influence
technology roadmap.
--- - - -Constructing and testing your solutions and providing
support to the team that will deploy and operationalize these
designs.
--- - - -Collaborate with Infrastructure and Tools leads to define
architecture and be responsible for managing and securing the
networks.
--- - - -Designing networks connecting Seagate services with our
customers across multiple regions and acting as the network expert
in partning with our internal customers/stakeholders to make this
happen seamlessly.
--- - - -Architecting the hardware platforms and network design to
support internal and external connectivity, while being directly
responsible in defining the routing policy that will support moving
terabits of traffic in and out of our networks each day.
--- - - -Making day-to-day and strategic decisions that carry a
huge amount of responsibility and impact; while confronting and
solving complex and high-stake challenges.
--- - - -Performs technical design and policy reviews, to include
cloud-based architecture and integrations.
--- - - -Responsible for delivery of multi-cloud network
engineering infrastructure and integration with various (cloud
service providers) CSPs.
--- - - -Combine networking experience with software development
fundamentals to help build or expand the network of Lyve
Services.About you:--- - - -Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
or equivalent experience is a huge plus.
--- - - -4+ years experience in IP networking fundamentals and in
the application of IP protocols as well as network analysis
fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
--- - - -4+ years experience troubleshooting traffic engineering
using BGP and large scale network design and maintenance is
critical.
--- - - -4+ years experience with major internet routing protocols;
specifically BGP (including route reflector topologies), OSPF,
ISIS, MPLS and RSVP.
--- - - -4+ years experience in security and firewall
architecture.
--- - - -2+ years experience managing large projects to completion
is a must, either as project manager or lead. NDEs are expected to
self-manage several projects at a time, providing regular status
updates and identifying and pushing through obstacles.
--- - - -Background in high availability, global backbone design
and architecture is highly preferred.
--- - - -Unix/Linux skills and the ability to script in Python,
Perl, shell, C or C++ is desirable, SDN is a reality in AWS
Networking. Daily activities will involve applying networking
knowledge to SDN and Network Automation tools.
--- - - -Certifications (e.g. CCIE, JNCIE) a huge plus.
--- - - -Experience designing, operating, and implementing networks
of large scale, and be well versed in the operation of the Internet
routing hierarchy. -Have pushed platforms to their limits.
--- - - -Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust
troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance
analysis.
--- - - -Experience in common software development methodologies
(Agile, Kanban, etc.)
--- - - -Familiarity with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence,
etc.)
--- - - -Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment
frameworks, such as Jenkins.
--- - - -Track record of collaborating with multiple
cross-discipline engineering teams.
--- - - -Experience creating strong, collaborative relationships
with cross-functional partners.
--- - - -Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical
skills.
--- - - -Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within
changing priorities with enthusiasm.
--- - - -Good judgment and technical acumen with the ability to
make timely and sound decisions.Location:U.S. Remote;

Travel: Up to 10% -(Domestic or International)For Colorado and New
York City applicants - Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act
(SB 19-085) and New York City's Local Law 32 of 2022 requires we
inform you of the estimated salary range for this position:
$132,000 - $170,000 yearly. Actual salary range is based on fair
market value of the role in the geography in which you live based
on the requirements of the job and your skills. -This posted salary
range is a good faith and reasonable estimate and Seagate reserves
the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of
